I am thinking about having a giveaway. I thought it would be cool if everyone who wanted to enter a drawing for a signed copy of one of my short stories - nothing too fancy, but signed - could enter by posting a link to their favorite short story on their Facebook wall - and then commenting here to tell me you did so if you aren't one of my Facebook friends. I would then enter you into the drawing, and if you won, I would send you a signed copy of your favorite short story. Cool huh?
To recap: Step one - decide to enter. Step 2 - choose favorite story. Step 3 - Share the story on your Facebook wall. Step 4 - make sure I know you posted the story to your wall. Step 5 - I put a piece of paper with each entry's name in a hat or bowl, close my eyes, and draw one at random. Step 6 - I sign the winner's favorite story and send it to them.
Does that sound like a good idea to anyone? If so, comment on this post to let me know you would like to do it, if I have enough interest, I will do it. Oh and, it would be ok to post more than one story, just don't do more than one per day, sound fair?

Well, I would but I'm not on facebook. I've gotten you a couple of readers though. Does that count?!? LOL, I think it sounds like a great idea!
ReplyDeleteYeah, that totally counts! I am still undecided yet because there doesn't seem to be much interest, however, I think that I will probably do it next week.
